Blind tasting is the term for tasting and analyzing wines without seeing the label or knowing what the wine is. This activity is a great way to test your wine knowledge. The object is to ascertain such features as grape variety, region, vintage, and price of the wine purely through the act of seeing, smelling, and tasting the wine in the glass. Meadowcroft’s Wine Educator will lead the group through how to evaluate wines and educate about varietals, regions, and vintages. This experience is very interactive and can be quite competitive (depending on the group’s preference). There are two choices in each Blind Tasting Kit: All Red Wines or Mixed Red and White.
Your host will explain how the tasting will work once everyone is on the call. You can expect to learn, laugh, and make memories.

Meadowcroft Wines is the namesake label of winegrower Tom Meadowcroft. The meaning of“Meadowcroft” is a fertile field or meadow with the “croft” being the cultivated area that has been nurtured over time. The honeybee on the label symbolizes this conscientious work and the process of transformation from wine grapes into an outstanding wine. Meadowcroft wines include a wide array of beautiful varietals, from our Mount Veeder Cabernet Sauvignon, which is grown on our estate vineyard property.
