Let's promote the importance of literacy by bringing foster children together through stories! Record a video of yourself reading a portion of your favorite children’s book. Introduce yourself with your first name and share why you chose to read your story and don’t forget to hold up the book so the child can look at the pictures with you! Story readings that include the extra personal touches are the best! You may also read with silly voices and high/low inflections or dress up in costume! The per person fee will be used to purchase the books for donating to children!

What to expect on the day of experience
All the participants can join the reading event through their laptops and record themselves reading on their phones or a separate device! Please ensure that the video is in .mp4 or .MOV format. Please note that the microphones would be turned off for this experience, nonetheless, everyone would be reading together!

Our children and youth are aged 0-21, so feel free to pick up a book that may be suitable for any age group between this!

This interactive holiday party was so much fun. The activities, Magic Show and cookie decorating was great. The host was great with such positivity. The magic show was truly unbelievable. There were so many tricks I've never seen before. Great experience and had a fantastic time.

I loved the magician this time, it was very nice. I love the liveliness of the host and the flow of the evening. I would like it to be noted that most employees don't have cameras on their work computers though, so the hosts don't assume we are just trying to not participate.
